Default Got the Dunlop WinterSports 3D's mounted.... they are great!

For those of you waiting for a report...

Better in the dry than the M3's were... not as gushy feeling... a bit quieter as well. The 19x255's still gripped my steep ice driveway going forwards and backwards. Didn't float at all on 4 inches of fresh over ice. When pushing in (or out of a turn) a turn, you simply let off the gas, straighten the wheel and accelerate again: that gets them all locked in and going. Looks less agro from the side than the M3's did.

To those on the fence, I say get 'em. Just do me a favor and still go slow in Truckee.

Happy plowing!

I haven't had any snow or ice yet, but I agree they are better then the M3's in the wet for sure.

Yup. Just tried out my 3D's today near Blue Canyon / Yuba Gap and they did really well.

This is my first try at a dedicated winter wheel/tire setup and I'm glad I went with the 3D's as apposed to an All-Season tire. The A/S's were "fine" on my old A4 but there is a marked difference with the snow tire. Besides, "fine" is not what I want in the Sierra Nevada.

Default Good, I got a set coming in the next 7 days or so. mounted on replica 19"

All from Hartmann. 255/35 so we will see how they look. Glad to hear they perform well on the dry and wet...I almost went with all seasons for this reason...

Default AT Italia 5-spoke 17"-ers. Easy cleaning and look pretty good...

I don't have a pic available but I do recall someone on here with a Daytona Grey RS4 with a similar setup.
