FUNK BUTTON switch w/ chrome accent lno. 8E0-035-775-D with 4D0-971-636-B harness:

1 - Dimmable Red LED for night-lighting, splice into ESP button wire
2 - Green LED - connect to #6 (output)
3 - Chassis Ground
4 - Input (switched +12V)
5 - not used
6 - Output - Connect to Brown wire of 611T relay

DEI 611T Active 5A Latching Relay. Early production type with 4 wires instead of 6. 4 is all we need and they're cheaper:

Black - Chassis Ground (-12V) for coil
Red - Switched +12V
Brown - Connect to FUNK #6 Output
Yellow - Connect to one side of the vacuum solenoid coil. Run a single insulated wire along and under the door thresholds, under the rear seat, and into the left trunk area.

Vacuum Solenoid - 12V, 3-port pinout:

One pin to Chassis ground
One pin connects to 611T Yellow wire

Vacuum Solenoid vacuum connections:

Cut the vacuum line between the RS4 solenoid and the flaps
Connect to one side of cut vacuum line to the Normally closed port
Connect the other side if cut vacuum line to the Input port of the vacuum solenoid
There is no connection to the Normally Open port. It's function is to vent vacuum to atmosphere.
Where did you get the connector for the funk switch? I ordered one from ECS but it only includes the button, there is no wiring or connector.

I don't remember specifically, but the harness looks like an Audi part number. In that case, I probably ordered it from my local stealer, or genuineaudiparts.com.

Good luck and let us know how it turned out.
