Default Great Showcase of RWD performance

Google search for Nurburgring Laptime Records.

Note how the top 10 or 20 or 30 or whatever are all RWD cars.

Must have all been ringers.

Thanks for coming, have a nice day.

Default Off topic. No mention of anything remotely Audi related by any stretch. Take it to the motorsports

forum if you want to talk abstracts.

What do you mean? There's plenty Audi's on the list.

& pray tell, what does a GTR vs GT3 vs M3 have to do with Audi anyway?

Default The GT-R is awd. The M3 is an Audi competitor. You mention none of these and provide no link.

Thus your post is OT.

Go away. You are boring us now.

Default What does the GT-R being AWD have to do with anything? It's not an Audi. It has a different AWD

In fact, if anything it's closest to BMW's X-drive in that it send almost all the power to the rears until such time as the wheels spin and then sends some to the front.

Their AWD system has nothing in common with quattro, either Torsen or Haldex.

Default I'm not going to argue. This thread cannot be construed as being on topic.

Go talk about the GT-R on the AW Motosports or BMW forums if you wish.

Default Oops. Maybe you forgot that the OUTRIGHT record holder on the GP-Nordschleife course is

Jürgen Alzens AWD Porsche. It was bascially outlawed because it dominated everything...when it didn't blow up.

In fact, it crushes the RWD M3-GTR too.
