Most pieces produced in that kind of volume are prepreg, and, while I won't say there's no such thing as a polyester prepreg, I will say that I don't know of any and that Hexcel doesn't produce any.
For wet layup, clear polyester resins are very very hard to find. Almost all of them are some degree of yellow. Clear epoxies, however, are quite easy to find. The problem with many of them, as many people have found out, is that they aren't quite UV stable and often yellow with time.

Pondering...since this/these part(s) seem to be
of only cosmetic significance and the colour has changed, they might have to replace them.
This would be analogous to the wheels oxidizing and changing colour. Audi probably won't see it this way however.
