smoke the tires when launching? what is more important...

the 0-60 timer count or the smoking tires? How quick is the S4 in the video? All I can see is some smoke and i'm having some trouble getting excited about it.
Maybe the tires are balding and they should be replaced before the rainy season starts.

the car is good for 1.6X 60' and ~3 seconds 0-60. what im trying to get at...
is the RS4's stock clutch able to hold? will the ESP kick in even when disabled? I'd like some first hand experience.

yup
I've practiced about 6 times:
ESP off (mandatory)
2000rpm: couldn't break tires loose.
3000rpm: couldn't break tires loose.
4000rpm: not bad.
5000rpm: Holy sheep **** this car launches as hard as my Vette with Mickey Thompsons (1.5 sec 60 foot). What a rush.
All were done in an abandoned parking lot with so-so traction, so not even close to the traction you'd get at a drag strip. In all cases the clutch stunk pretty bad afterwards. I actually think 4000-5000rpm launches are easier on the clutch because the tires "slip" instead of the clutch.
