Default I had trouble first couple of times. Then burned files onto a CD as a DVD-ROM. I am

using a mac and did this using Toast. Only problem I had was afterwards my radio asked me to put the PIN in which my dealer hadn't written in my manual. I had to go down to the dealer and have them pull the radio out and look what my code was. Now everything works great. No lawyer nag screen. Haven't figured out how to do the mute.

You can use the "mute" by just taping the on/off dial. Push it a little longer to shut off the unit

Pressing On/Off should mute/unmute(or raise vol).
