Default Help needed on choosing color, pls respond!

I need to choose color for my RS4 sedan, possible choices would be: Phantom Black, Daytona Gray, Sprint Blue Misano Red or Avus Silver. Now the dilemma:

Black looks best in my opinion, but i live in a dirty city and i am not willing to spend half my life in the car wash just to have it clean for 30 minutes on the road.

Blue and Red look great but i can never figure out how "washed out" their colors are in real life, the photos dont reflect it well. Also i would need to know how easily do they get dirty and how obvious the possible scratches and marks are.

Daytona Grey is nice, looks like a safe color from washing and scratch-showing viewpoint.

Avus Silver is best for not having to clean it often and hiding scratches, but it is a bit boring color, too many cars have it.

You could help me by writing your experience: are you happy with your color, would you change it if you could choose again, how fast does it show dirt and how well does it hide small scratches?

Thanks a lot!

If you like black cars but don't want black, then try Mugello Blue. If I was to buy another one that is what I would get.

But given your needs Daytona is probably a good choice. It's a great looking color..

Default Go with Daytona...

If black is your favorite, but just don't want to deal with cleaning it all the time...you won't regret Daytona.

Mugello is just as much a pain to keep looking clean IMO

Default First RS4 I saw was a Mugello Blue, it was not freshly washed, i was very unimpressed...

it only looks great when it is shining with wax etc.

Phantom Black - every time... dirt = owner enjoys driving. Clean = sad owner!

Default regarding your comment about "too many" cars being silver....

...you're more than *twice* as likely to see another phantom black RS4 as you are to see an avus silver RS4. And almost twice as likely to see another Daytona gray RS4. From the registry:

Phantom black: 33.0%
Daytona gray: 26.6%
Avus silver: 15.0%

On the road, I've seen 3 other RS4s in the past 20 months: 2 black, and 1 daytona. I've never seen another silver RS4 in person.

And you're absolutely correct about hiding dirt and scratches. The primer they use is light colored, so even rock chips barely show on silver...they stick out like a sore thumb on any dark color.

Mugello is a great color, but as Fluffhead mentions, it still shows the dirt pretty quickly.

Default Dirt is your main concern so go with Avus Silver. You won't be happy with DG, PB, MB, or R however

white would be another choice.
