Default Hold up on de-flapping, I'll have an switch mod posted by tomorrow
I've found a way to put in a switch with 3 functions:


Keep the flap always closed.

Keep the flap working like stock.

Keep the flap always open.


And by the way, in the process I've found that the flap sometimes sticks in the open position.

Default nope, rewiring the solenoid for the vacuum actuated valve
Vacuum goes into a valve that is opened and closed by an electronic solenoid, driven by the ECU.

are you talking about some kind of toggle switch? or self actuating?

Default simple center off spdt toggle switch
in the engine compartment plenum section.

run it thru firewall and under dash and i'd like it even more. anyway, it's a good idea...sure beats yanking the valve out, and all that goes with that.
