How best to launch the RS4 ?
I've read to rev to 5-6k and drop the clutch, but I have also read that will smoke the clutch pretty quickly.
So what is the best way to launch an awd car?

I've had good success with dropping it at 3500 with just a little bit of slip...
but I haven't done it much or plan on doing it on a regular basis for sake of my clutch so I'm far from the authority on this.

In my S4 I've had the best results with 3500 also.
As the clutch catches, I start feeding it revs, taking it to 4k until it completely catches and then just dump it. I just had my best launch the other day w/ some tire spin. The trick is doing the launch w/o bogging the engine, its kinda embarassing too when you do bog it...
