Default How I spent my B-day - or lots of RS4 pics!

We drove up to Tahoe late Tuesday night. Upon awaking at the otherwise unremarkable Crown Resort hotel, we were greeted by this view off the balcony.

A walk on the beach and then this. Very unique patterns in the sand of a creek flowing into the lake.

The gulls were warming themselves in the sun.

Of course we need a lovey dovey pic! I have the most awesome Honey! He took a day off and let me drive most of the time

A bunch of RS shots around the lake.

Being mid-week, we had the road pretty much to ourselves and a few locals. What fun! Spent the day with the top down, blatting around with the S button engaged for maximum effect! The Gold Country is especially nice this time of year and for the next month or so. Go if you can. After that, it gets brownish.

On the tight and twisty local roads, the RS4 shows it's weight. A bit clumsy when changing directions. However, on the quick sweepers in the Sierras, it is completely in it's element, tying one corner to another a seamless sequence that flows like ballet. The car is utterly unflappable at semi-sane speeds and communicates extremely well for such a big lump of metal. A joy to drive.

Default I love Tahoe. Nice pics and Happy B-day! How is the RS4's power up in the mountains?

Is the RS4 clearbra'd? Roads like that in the winter are brutal in that they are loaded with salt and rocks and pebbles and debris that hit the car behind, as you well know. What is your ancestry, if you don't mind me asking? You are very lovely and I can't tell if you are european or asian or mixed. In some shots you look asian and in others you look european or eurasian. I had looked at you pic poster to check out your cars before. Nice trip and happy birthday. Many, many more.

Default Great Birthday...Glad you had fun...re the suspension...

once the drc is removed...and replaced with something like the Stasis/Ohlins coilovers, they are different cars...I don't really know about the cab, I got my girlfriend a stock S4 cab, but it doesn't have drc...and is an S4.

They are front heavy...RS4's...and they are heavy(.)... but getting rid of the drc is highly reccomended if you're going to keep the car for a longish (irrelevant for this car addict) period of time.

HELP...I'm in South Florida, shopping for Z06's, Evo X's, new M3's...please talk me out of a new Z06...that I'd have to at least get Penske remote res. adjustable shocks for...not to mention 6k worth of wheels and tyres (because it come with chrome wheels, and I want to drive it for the next week)!!! (and a custom shift lever, since I find it to close to me...)

BTW...I'm very happy for you that you have a good relationship/Honey...Happy Birthday!
