I am tired about B5 moded vs. RS4
We all know the a moded B5 can beat a RS4. I bought an RS4 & love it. Stock is a blast, but if one chooses to mod a B7 well say no more. Once the R8 engine upgrades surface, the RS4 will no dought get more options. The MTM is to $$$$ right now. Time will tell. I bought the RS4 for what it was, and like it more each time I drive it. If you want a pocket rocket, Porsche Turbo eater for under $40,000, buy a Moded WRX. I drove one over the weekend that had roughly 440 HP. It's all relavent

On behalf of you RS4 owners...who I agree with (even though I am a Stage 2 B5S4 Owner)
...and I love my car.
This may be an urban legend, but back in the late 80's in the midst of the Mustang vs. IROC Z28 days there was rumour of a Chevette with a 5.0L in it. Imagine that monster. But it was still a Chevette.
I've driven an RS4 - thanks to the generosity of one of you guys - and it is light years ahead of the B5 S4..again, I love my car...and that should be expected since it's 7 years newer. I could spend $$$ and probably match up well with an RS4 eventually...and maybe match up against an F430 eventually, but it would still be a B5 S4. (Better than a Chevette, but not an RS4).

ROFL its gonna be even more irritating than a modded old *** S4 versus a brand new RS4
b/c then they will be comparing 2 brand new cars against each other 
At least we have the fallback of a brand new car with blue tooth, nav, better interior, more refined, better gauge console, etc.

The reality is that the B5S4 will be a legendary Audi tuner car...
AWD, biturbo that can be driven year round, in any condition that can eat up 99.999% of the cars on the road - the 335, the M5, M6, even E91 M3 don't really stand a chance at all with some of these modded S4s.
We are all proud of being part of that family for sure!

Again though the WRX/EVO crowd have the same argument..better even
as the car and the mods are cheaper.
Not sure why anyone with a S4 would even want to post on these threads about 0-60 1/4 times as its pointless.
Take it over to the WRX boards and they will eat your lunch.
