I just received some info regarding the status of my car....
The car has been inspected and is ready for shipment on 8/1/06; however, it shows that it will be loaded on a ship on 9/13/06. Why is there such a delay for shipment. Does this sound right or am I just hoping?

Same story here, seems too long to transport...
Timeline:
- Ordered 5/11/06
- Two weeks later I was given a build week = 8/22
- Learned on 7/31 that the car has already been built and is "on the boat"
- Rec'd an ETA in port (U.S.A.) of 8/11.
- Rec'd an ETA to dealer the week of 9/11.
Six weeks to ship to the dealer seems way too long. And to me, six weeks is going to seem like six months!
