Default i know you guys are not taking your car to the car wash!!!!

so for those of you who like to spend hours detailing and cleaning your car, what products do you reccomend? I want to get a full set of cleaning soaps, waxes, etc. I know MB reccomends Meguiars. What about Adams? etc. Any help would be appreciated, as my girl is very dirty and needs to be washed this weekend. If time permits, she might get a wax.

Default I use a combination of things.

When I do 'the works' (i.e. complete wax strip and re-wax), I'll use products in this order:

Dawn
Mother's Claybar, where needed
Meguiar's Deep Crystal Polish
3M Liquid Wax

For just a regular in-between wash, I like 3M Bodywork Shampoo. California water blade, followed by microfiber towels to dry.

I don't really like Meguiars Paint Cleaner or wax, and I don't really like 3M's paint polish. Just my preference.

Default My girl is very dirty but she likes to wash my car!

WARNING! The following link is adult only!

Do not open the link unless you want to see a pretty topless girl washing a car!

I like dish soap and a willing participant. If anyone knows of a better way to wash your car and not scratch the finish please let me know. BEG

P.S. What is the board etiquette, someone let me know if were not supposed to post this kind of thing and I will pull it down? It is just so funny I Couldn't resist.

http://www.goyk.com/video.asp?path=1547</a
