Default If you were gonna put together a wishlist of track day items...

what would you have on it?
i.e. appearal, car gear, tools, etc

These are the items I pack in my "track kit". Its really a rubbermaid box.
1. mechanic gloves.
2. oil
3. paper towels
4. torque wrench
5. screw driver
6. plyers
7. windshield cleaner
8. jack and stands
9. folding chair

and Im sure Im forgetting some stuff.

1. aluminum floor jack
2. jack stands
3. torque wrench
4. metric & sae tool set (wrenches, sockets, ratchets, hex, torx, screwdrivers, pliers, etc)
5. rubber mallet
6. hammer
7. caliper retractor
8. rotating piston retractor (for some rear brake applications)
9. brake fluid bleeder (pump extractor) + catch bottles
10. compressor
11. breaker bar
12. tire pressure guage
13. pyrometer (to measure tire temps, and brake temps if you want)
14. work gloves
15. driving gloves
16. helmet
17. folding chairs
18. shade (canopy or open tent)
19. foam mats
20. plastic containers (to stash your gear when it rains)
21. tarp
22. cooler
23. extra oil
24. spare brake pads and brake fluid
25. in-car video camera setup
26. data logger (if you want to get **** about studying your driving and telemetry) - no, I don't have one.
27. and I know I'm forgetting to list more stuff I normally bring.

LOL, everyone so far is missing the air gauge for the tire pressure.

Default I added a Motive power bleeder to my regular list for one person brake bleeding.

I started taking a cordless drill with a socket adaptor to speed up the lug bolt install/removal after I break them loose with the breaker bar.

I also take a 12V to AC converter for charging cameras/laptop.

And now a couple spare coil packs. Nothing like having to rush off to the closest dealer at 7AM Saturday morning because you had a coil pack go up in smoke the night before.

Default Good torque wrench. Aluminum jack. Fuses. Gauge. Air pump. Tools and spare parts

specific to car. Clamps and zip ties. Duct tape. Pyromter for checking tires and notebook for recording. Good window cleaner. Towel for laying on ground and rubber gloves. Fluids. Good flashlight. shop towels. Comfy camp chairs. Lots of tasty fluids, dried fruit, and 5hr energy drinks. Extension cord. Sunscreen. Antibiotic ointment and over-sized bandaids. Two way radios and spare batteries.
