I'm adjusting my expectations regarding Invisible Shield on white cars
Have a look at these photos - I've sent them over to the Invisible Shield's Customer Service department to see if this discoloring is normal, even for SoCal's sunny climate, (despite my car being garaged 90% of the time). These are coming off today - they look really bad after washing the car.

Yikes, that will not even look good on the old Audi pearl paint. Sorry to hear
To me it def looks abnormal. Wonder if it was the actual adhesive the turned yellowish, or the film itself.
Once you take it off, will you do another bra (say 3M)? On mine, it is not noticeable unless looking at it from very very close, but then again on the Ibis it may not be that forgiving...

I removed it from my sprint blue. Body shop said...
regardless of what anyone tells you, eventually there will be a difference in the paint color from exposed to covered. So you will get to a point where you MUST keep it on or respray the entire part.
I don't have a single stone chip on the nose. The regular paint is sooo much easier to clean. No regrets after removing it (>1 year ago).

I had 3M on my S4 for 2 years, looked great up to trade in
Just put 3M on my new car, been on for 5 months, no issues. I am in the desert too, full sun blast when at work all day, although I am thinking about a car cover. I hate in October when the PMD hatch hits the Yakima river and they all die from the absorbed heat of the car sitting out allday in directsun, when they try to land on it. Get a nice coating of dead fried bugs.
I do have a bunch of rock dngs on the front of my car, where there is no clear shield. Where the shield is in place, nothing! I will take pics, it is total justification to do it in my opinion, but if it yellowed like yours I would be pissed. Mine looks great though. I may actualy have my front fender shields and hood shield taken off and do complete coverage. I did my entire rear bumber one piece, plus the mirrors, door sills, door edges, under door handles, edges of the fender flares, and the trunk face below the licnse plate. I think it looks really good on the sprint blue, but the guy here did a fantastic job and wasn't afraid to take a piece off after a few days, because a bubble didn't cure, and redo it at no cost to me.
Look at the pic in my sig, you can't hardly tell its there.
