I got into an accident in September. Guy ran a red light and i plowed into him at like 30 km/h. No airbags went off, and the damage seemed pretty small to me. Car goes into the body shop and they tell me the engine has to get pulled out in order to properly fix the damage. So it goes to the local Audi shop. It takes them a month to take the engine out. They order some parts which they say has to come direct from germany and will take a month. Body shop works on the car and gives it back to Audi to put the engine back in. They take another month and then realize they have to order MORE parts that take ANOTHER month to come from Germany.

Bottom line... I still don't have my car back yet. It's looking like Feb. What a joke.

I had a very similar accident in August. I just got the car back last Friday. Motor had to come out, waited on parts forever, etc. Problem is, few Audi techs around here have ever worked on the car. I am shaking mine down and then it will be for sale or lease assumption. Good luck with yours.
