I'm sure you all have had this happen - stopped a light next to a blue Pontiac (I think) here in
Fort Collins. I'm turning left and he is going straight.
I can only see his a piller and that the car has mag wheels and performance tires but I don't recognize the car (G8??? -don't think a GTO) right off. I am listening to the new Counting Crows CD with the sunroof open and I hear some one saying "hey" - look over and the driver wants to talk. Asks me something about the car - I say it's a V8 and 400hp and AWD.
He says OK but what kind of car is it - I say Audi just as my left turn arrow comes on and the guy is floored and amazed - and says "Great Car" as I am turning.
Always a nice feeling.

I pulled into a mall parking lot to met up with a friend yesterday to show him my ride.
and this guy with 2 little rug rats piles into his beat to heck mini van and then pops over with his phone camera and asks if he can take a few pictures.
It's nice to see that folks take notice.
The 1st day driving to work one of my employees said nice BMW. :-<

It's happened to me twice (different ride)...
Coming out of the grocery store and random guy in a Chevy Tahoe comments on how nice the car looks. Then going to work random guy number two comments on what a "sweet wagon" I've got. Pretty cool... It's a white B7 S4 avant.

btw, Counting Crows played a live set on Howard today....
recap:
"Adam and the rest of the band performed one of their hits ("Round Here"), and Howard returned the favor by allowing them to play their new song, "Washington Square."
