Installing front brake wear sensor in Ferodo DS-2500

brake pads. Replacing the stock pads myself and want to install the wear sensor, is it possible or should I just bypass the sensor?

Bypass it. I know of no easy way to install operable sensors after the fact...

I would put a shout out to Scott, (RI RS4) as he reported his dealer installed sensors on pads that did not come with them but I suspect his dealer bypassed the sensors rather than made the operable with non sensored pads.

Bypass it and keep an eye on them.

My advisor communicated to me wrong. The sensors are bypassed

It's pretty darn easy to check your pads from time to time, and they really don't wear very fast. 10K miles and 4 track days so far, with a large amount of pad left.
