Default Interested question from a non-RS4 owner, but curious...

Will there be an aftermarket turbo kit for the RS4 V8? A twin turbo variant would be outrageous.

Thanks

Default Who knows, but there are supposedly a few super charger kits under development...

See the post about an MTM kit further down the page...

Default well, there's a remote turbo kit that would probably work.

I don't know if it would be possible to fit 2 turbos ahead of the firewall in this car.

STS turbo

Default I am sure MTM will come out with something but it will be $$$$$

we are still waiting for any one else with a B6 kit to come out. APR and others have been working for almost 2 years on a kit but still nothing. So don't get your hopes up for anything in the relm of affordability.

Default There is room but the transmission tunnel has to be modified, not too mention

the motor rebuilt to lower the compression. But it would be a monster of a car.

Default To say the least, it's not practical... As a professional racing engine, that

is rebuilt after every race... sure.

Default The boost pressure must be pretty low, and the lag may be significant

due to the distance between the turbo and the engine.

Default Just a guess but the new RS6 may be available before a reliable turbo for the RS4.

Totally rumors but it "might" have a turbo version of the V-10. If you need a faster car now, you should probably look at the M5 or M6.
