LI-S4

I've scanned the first few pages of threads and haven't come across any pictures of the instrument cluster for the new RS4...can some one help please??

I am hoping to do some R&D work and need a shot like this, that shows the trim in front of the cluster...

speedo. So if this is for V1 display R&amp;D, the B7/B6 S4 one should work.

...screen. now *that* is clean.

i wish V1 would come out with a truly stealth kit, with remote sensors. even if you wire a remote display and tuck your wires away, having that brick stuck to the window is not only an irritant to cops, you have to keep uplugging and hiding it when you park anywhere. PITA.

its different for every car. So V1 needs to make a million kits for every different car. I just wish they would make more common bus's where things could talk. MOST which is the audio bus used in the newer car audi systems is still not standerdized but would give the ability to control the Nav/Audio system to display stuff on the screen, maybe even the cluster. But the issue is these bus signals are still very proprietary. Hell there are cars being sold today that don't fully implement the ODBII Standard.

...the V1 into the B6/7 S4 instrument cluster LCD. had it working on earlier cars with the LED too, like the RS6.

IMHO its too integrated, doesn't stand out enough like the seperate display. I think I would get pulled over like mad since it doesn't stand out enough. I am picking up a 2006 Land Rover LR3 HSE with lots of goodies tomorrow. Then I am starting my shopping for a 2000/2001 B5 S4 in Nogaro for me to "play" with.

a lotus or a lower end or used p-car but for some reason I can't seem to part with having a nogaro car.
