Intro and some pics to share

Hi Everyone. This is my first post. I'm the proud owner of an 08 Ibis RS4. I came from an 07 Grand Cherokee SRT8 and before that had an E39 M5, Subie WRX STI, and an E36 M3 (many others, too, but I'll spare the list.) I'm a bit of a car nut. I live in Los Angeles and work for Edmunds.com/Inside Line and manage the digital media department, which I've been doing for six years. I chose the RS4 over the C63 and M3, after driving each for about a week. The RS just fit me best. Here's a photo with a link to more - let me know what you think!

Re: congrats!!! what were your deciding factors for choosing it over the C63 and M3??
Exclusivity for starters. Both the C63 and M3 are great cars and will have great followings. But living in LA, they'll be everywhere in about 37 minutes. This is the city where the Bentley Continental GT is referred to as the "Beverly Hills Camaro."
Buying a car, especially a high-end one, is obviously a very personal decision. BMW's lost me in the current 3-series' styling. Fantastic engine but I cringe when I look at either the sedan or the coupe. Although, in fairness, I said that when the E60 M5 debuted and now I don't mind it. But that's still night-and-day different from the love affair I had with my E39.
The C63 is going to get a lot of people into trouble who don't know how to drive powerful cars. To me, the engineers missed the mark in making the car fun at the limit. It's not a very controlled (or controllable) experience when your brain says "oh crap." Most likely it's already too late. Also, the interior quality (read: dashboard materials, fit and finish, etc) is not up to what the price point commands, which is disappointing since it's a ground-up redesign.
The Audi, to me, is the best of the three because it blends performance and control with a great interior that, even though is a few years old in design, is still where I'd prefer to plant my butt every day of the week.
