Just got my Euro wheel installed...
I bought it from a member here, received and installed today by the boys at Matrix that always do a great job. Wow, what a difference, this wheel simply feels right, I love it! I know its been commented on many times but in my opinion its a must mod. I feel like I just got a new exotic supercar... thicker, sportier, looks killer.

Congrats! How much thicker is it?
Did you actually do a measurement of the girth? I really find the stock one inadequate, drove an X6 for 2 months and it has a wheel that is twice as thick!
The only downside I see is loosing some of the functionality in controls (e.g. voice button and mode functions/wheel)

Re: I've been thinking about doing this as well......
All came together. This member bought them both but sold his RS4, and took off most of the mods.
You can get them from Rival (quite a wait) with the A8 airbag which I'm told works.

Just measured it
The stock wheel is 5 1/2"... The Euro wheel is 6" at its thinnest point and 6 1/2 at its widest.
As for the functionality, everyone who has the euro wheel will tell you its worth the very small sacrifice. Now I have to move my arm 1ft to the console to operate the phone and radio functions... big deal!!

A picture is worth a thousand words.
Although measurements are great too.
Diameter comparison. You're looking at the stock wheel placed face-to-face on top of the euro wheel.

How much is the RS4 airbag alone?
Is it an A8 airbag (two-stage), or is it an official RS4 airbag?
I thought there was some Federal regulation that airbags cannot be shipped, no? (die to possibility of 'exploding'...)
