But I wonder if this is just a ploy to try and get more people to show up...I can't imagine how they could explain to a crowd of people waiting for a turn that only some of them are worthy of driving it.

same here...not worth a 4-5 hour drive + hotel if I can't drive it.

and he said as far as he knows, nothing has changed regarding RS4 test drives. They were allowing RS4 test drives for the Chicago event. He mentioned to bring a copy of my vehicle order just in case (whatever that means).

interesting...I just talked to an old friend last week who lives in Chicago. He recently bought a new M5 with the exact same color combination as yours. Weird.
