Default Bummer about the damage. Put all wheels on a dymanic balancing machine's spindle. Any bends

will be obvious. I have had minor bends repaired without a problem, although not any yet on my RS4. Our local shop charges about $125 each wheel to repair the bend and mount and balance the tire.

Default I've been fighting this for two months now!!! Ugh...

Hit a crater and immediately knew something was wrong. Took it to my tire guy and he determined bent rim.

WELLLLLLLL...three bent rims, one not repairable, an alignment, and a wheel swapping day with another S4 later, I hopefully have it narrowed down to the offending wheel/tire.

Tire looks good on outside so I am wondering if I broke a belt or it is blistered on the inside or something. 65mph will vibrate every time.

Sucks too because I have a years worth of wear on my GY F1 GS D3s and they still have plenty of tread.

Probably go with Mich PS2s if it's the tire.

If the rim is bent, make sure whoever fixes it gets the finish correct before you keep it. PIA!!

Good luck with yours.

Eric.

Default Do you have Michelins or Perellis?

Perellis are very prone to blistering as I learned the $375 way.

Default Yup...Been through Two rims and one PS2.....

That tire protection plan from Tire Rack is starting to look good....Neighbor in his AMG has the same problem with low profile 19" rims.....

Pirelli...only 1 of them bubbled, and both fronts felt like they hit with equal force.
