Default Mid year 2007 revision list

I have been unable to find one list of all the minor changes that were done mid-2007. Were they all cosmetic? Changes that I noticed were:

Chrome trim on the interior buttons
new under seat drawer design
better sounding radio head unit?
Was there anything else?

Default Scroll to the bottom of the registry

Here are the changes i know about: roof antenna (surfboard) smaller, silver accents added to interior buttons, custom exterior colors available, additional interior trim options available

XM satellite radio was no longer offered from production week 22 (May 29th, 2006) forward; cargo nets were also no longer included about this time

RS4 Registry

Default Ah. I had actually looked at the registry prior to posting but missed that. It doesn't

surprise me that you were the one with the answer Sparkhill, thanks. It has been a very interesting contrast to be without an RS4 for 6 months after I sold my ver- A and feels so good to be back in one after buying this new one. I was surprised they definitely changed the design of the drawers. They no longer are a large compartment that pulls forward. They now are a small cubby that rotates on it's axis. I remember there was some discussion about the head units on the radio being improved and changed from one manufacturer to another, but didn't know if that had ever been substantiated. My new one is twelve months newer, and it is interesting the minor differences between cars. This car has the Continentals on it, which seem to ride quieter , but lack some of the grip of the Michelin PS2s. I also took my first long highway trip yesterday, and was surprised that this car does 2 m.p.g. better than my best in the first car, which who knows could be attributed to tires, inflation or minor variances in engines, +something else I am probably not thinking of.

Default That is all really interesting...

I did not know about the seat storage change. Of the handful of people who have owned two RS4's, most like their new car better and a few like their old one. I wonder if the cars, on average, have improved or it is just due to the inevitable car to car variability.

The seat storage change is really annoying - less than half the capacity of the previous drawers.

Default +1

My first test drive of an RS4 must have been the older 07. Loved the room under the seat, enough for toys that go boom. Mine, not so much room....

Any way to switch that out without a whole new seat?
