Millteck exhausts+hi flow cats ENGINE CHECK LIGHT!!! RS4
Hi guys! im from italy, just purchased and fitted the full exhaust+hi flow cats from Millteck on my RS4. Sounds amazing but after 500miles i got thye engine check light on. Checked with the dealer and it says is the cats. HE put it off but for sure will come on again.
Any of u guys had the same problem or anyone from Stratosphere can advice me on what could be the problem? i called up Milteck and the say it should not happen, the say that probably my mechanic switched the lamdas, the one from the frnt into the back or viceversa... but it sounds really impossible to do that.
if anyone can advice me...thanks!

It is unlikely that your mechanic switched the O2 sensors because they are of different lengths
That being said, I agree that it is the cats. With any highflow cat, you are increasing the emissions (even the HJS) over the OEM high-density cats.
Many people have managed to fool the O2 sensor by installing a spacer that reduces the amount of exhaust flow over the sensor. It is hit or miss what length spacer will work the best. Another option that also works is to install a 90 degree spacer.

If it's just an emissions code @ the secondary O2, it does not hamper performance.

You need to contact your Milltek dealer in Italy...
and get things properly sorted out. Make sure the installation is correct in terms of sensors (they get moved from the stock location), properly interpret the codes. Inspect the sensors for damage during installation.
