Default Milltek quad tips ceramic coated and installed...

I'll have to say that the fit and finish on the milltek is better than the magnaflow. The muffler hangers were placed onto a plate and then welded onto the muffler vs the hanger being directly welded on to the muffler (magnaflow). Each tip's diameter is larger, and better especially when ceramic coated black (which tends to make the tips appear smaller). My initial impression on the sound is that the nod goes to the magnaflow. It did sound more exotic and mean, and when resonated the magnaflow's sound was just perfect. I purchased the resonated milltek setup and in contrast it is pretty subdued and a little boring. I've only driven the car for less than an hour so this impression might change. I also installed the JHM short shift upgrade and it is an improvement over the previous version. The linkage and bushings were installed and my initial impression is that the shifting feels tighter and more precise, I should be reporting back after I've had more time with it.

Default yup, should have went valved non-res. It's the best of both worlds. Post pics!

Purchased the exhaust chrome and did the paint myself. Came out an absolute perfect match to the rear valance.

Default good job with those tips...

I really need to ride in an RS with the flap, is it really quiet at start up?
My wealthy pre-owner put the full non-res and downpipes on so I have no idea how the flap on/off sounds.

Cold start-up is insanely loud. Regular driving with sport button off is nice and quiet.

Default This is TOTALLY subjective......

I have valved and resonated and I wouldn't want it any louder whatsoever. Sport mode off is like stock with sport mode on. Sport mode on is like stock with more bass and growl but the overall tone is similar.

Default yes, I am in Houston...

I do own the car outright. I think only an idiot would have modified to this extent on a leased car. I'm not really thinking of selling at the moment (although that might change in the mentioned timeframe).
