Mock up of my new 18" wheels, being made in the USA
#11
"How something looks is way down on my list".......
Wow....hardly an attitude for success in the wheel business. Of course quality is of prime importance but for road cars, looks are equally as important. Different story if you are building wheels purely for racing purposes. In that case, function is all that matters and to hell with form. However, the Audi RS4 is a road car and even people who track the car a lot will care about the looks of the wheels unless they are being used as dedicated track wheels.
Wheels for this car have to perform well and be good looking....kinda like the car itself. Imagine that!
As far as custom offset goes, here is a pic of a fully custom built forged one-piece wheel that weighs 20lbs and gives the stock wheel a serious run for the money in the looks department. It can be made in a custom fitment for the RS4 that can accomodate up to a 285mm tire with no spacers and no rubbing

hot wheel pic

actually they weigh 24 lbs in the 19 inch...
I should be getting a set in about 2-3 weeks. I know you keep stating the p40's for the rs4 but they are only available in 19x8.5 or 19x11. If you go up to 20 inches they are available in a 20x9. The m40's (slightly different) are available in 19x9 or 19x9.5. All 19's in the monoforged are approximately 24 lbs. My first choice was rennworx, but they are out of business. I considered neez but the design available for the rs4 left much to be desired. Quite frankly, these were the only rims that I liked better than stock. Some weight savings, probably a little stronger than stock, but mainly cosmetic.

Those look really cool but are they 18"
18" is what I need. If I had to choose between a Fikse or an HRE wheel I would take the Fikse as I have had them on several track cars (Porsche, BMW and Volvo) and have had great experience with the wheels and the company. They
are expensive but with great support from the
manufacturer they end up a great value

I've owned 2 sets of Fiskes and one set of HRE's and Fikse is far, far better IMO.
Build quality, durability, price, and SERVICE - Fikse hands down an all counts.
