Default My O2 sensor has been fixed, picking up the RS4 tomorrow..

I got a call from my service rep today that the O2 sensor was replaced in my RS4, the tech took it for a drive and all seemed well.

He did say there was some kind of clamp thingy that seemed weak and he was going to have it replaced tomorrow right before I picked the car up. Not sure what that was about but I'll find out more.

So I go pick her up tomorrow and finally can return to driving and enjoying this wonderful car.

I'll let you know how it goes when I get the car back.

Default Sort of..

When I initially showed it to my service rep (using the picture I took) he shrugged it off as normal, a drain hose.

However I sent him an email tonight after seeing pothole's picture, I wanted him to see that other cars hoses are not looking the same, so I've asked him to just make sure that there isn't something up with that. I sent him a copy of pothole's pic.

Yes, some were circumcised, some not, just like in real life.

Default Are you for real?

You think these hoses are variable in length depending on the car?

Audi TSB says length can vary depending on the break-in procedure.

Default The length is inversely proportional to owner's hose-tube-thingie length.

I can't even see the dangly hose-tube-thingie on my car.

Default LOL...it's probably something they had to access during PDI, and some weren't repositioned...

would be my guess.
