My RS4 is back. SIKE!!! They found yet ANOTHER problem with it.
So I call my service rep today at noon. My car is ready to be picked up.
Then at 3pm I get a call back from him again, saying oops, the lead tech took it for a final test ride to double check the work done on it and heard a hissing coming from under the hood.
He feels it is an air leak in the intake manifold and therefore I was not able to get my car back today, and they are taking apart the intake manifold to see where the leak is coming from.
They even think it might be part of why I was getting the original EPC light, since too much air may have been coming in, or not enough, or whatever, which may have tripped the oxygen sensors.
In any case, we are approaching 3 weeks since I bought this car, and of those 3 weeks, the car has been in a status of needing repair for all but 4 of those days.
I called AoA today and ripped them a new ahole. Despite my service rep's great help so far, I told them I expect them to pay this month's bill and that I was still not going to be happy unless they found a way to kiss my *** and make me feel good all over again.
At this point it's not enough to get my car back working, they robbed me of the thrills of the first month of ownership, something that I place a high value on.
It's going to take a bucket load of swag and a lot of *** kissing to make me want to buy another Audi. I know this can happen with any brand, but that is not the point.
I am not far away from calling lemon on this car. Tomorrow a VP from the executive office of AoA is supposedly going to be calling me.
I better be highly impressed with what he's going to do to make me happy.

Really, that sucks big time. Sorry to here about it. Try to stay positive at least you're working all the bugs out early.

I'm sure this won't help any but I'm a bit depressed myself hearing about your tribulations. Your car needs to be on the road!
Good luck with the VP...and the car.
