My first car was a Brown 8V Scirocco. Loved that thing.
My modding started with that thing...tint/headers/lowering springs. That car handled like it was on rails because of the slammed lowering, but the ride was only suitable for non renal colic people 
It started quicker at -30 degrees than +30, very weird. Dependable as heck tho, i still mourn her loss.

I bought a brand new 1982 model and modified it to the ying yang (except for the motor)...
Sold it seven and a half years later with over 250K kilometers on it.
