Does anyone else have the following issue?

My navigation system will automatically provide nav assistance at startup requiring me to stop route guidance. This occurs about 70% of the time and I cannot figure out how to stop it. I've disabled voice prompts for now.

What am I missing here?

I can't remember when it was - probably late 2006 or early 2007. IIRC, the solution was to delete all destinations/history from the NAV.

If you can borrow someone's newer DVD it will update your unit on power-up, then you can still use your older map disk with the new firmware.

I had this problem until I upgraded to firmware 0150. BTW, firmware 0250 is now available.

Or is it only available on the latest DVD ?
