Default Need help: I disconnected my battery last night and now my key fob will not work.

I was installing the flat bottom wheel and had to disconnect the battery. Now when I tried to use my key fob to lock the doors, it doesn't work. Do I have to reprogram the key fob? Can I just hold the lock button down or something and have it recognize the car? TIA

Default check the manual, there might be something about reprogramming the fob, IIRC.

you'd think the vendor would tell you about this...

Default Sometimes, putting it in the door and moving the windows up and down works....

This method worked one time on my S4

Default That happened to me

That happened to me. Key was recognized after I restarted the car and played around with the memory buttons.

"S" button on the wheel is nice isn't it.

The wheel is soooo much better than the stock one. I am really happy with the grip on the wheel.

You guys are no help, lol. Insert the key in the ignition a couple of times and it should work.

Default Yes, it is simple. The hardest part about it is getting the damn key fob...

to work after the battery was disconnected ;-).
