I doubt that was the case since they were selling 2.7t motors and A8 motors and others. but here is
proof that the thought has crossed my mind. At this point in the game with the RS4 demanding 70 large it would not be a feasible project. But a few years down the road it may be.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2475828.phtml">2.7t in a B7 RS4?</a></li></ul>
