I spent a lot of time discussing 2008 changes with AoA, and pressed very hard to get this exclusive package approved. As I said many times before, this along with the Titanium Package and some changes to the color palette were going to be the only addendums and that alcantara might happen as well but looks unlikely at this point.

DOT requires crash testing with all of the interior choices. This includes changes of leather grade. The only Silk Nappa leather colors Audi has are Silver, Black and Crimson Red. After the price complaints about the 25th quattro S4, the price increase to do small batches of custom dyed Nappa would make the Audi Exclusive option too pricey for our market.

Everyone who has had it on their S4's agrees, I think.

I was surprised it wasn't available on the RS4, especially since the seats are already the same as an S4 other than the piping.

I would like to order the wheels and the window trim via the dealer but I think they would charge an outrageous price for all the parts.
