Default New RS4 Cab.....

Hi All - Just picked up my new RS4 Cab. It's Mugello Blue with Silver interior. I've been a member to AW long enough to know you should search before asking questions so I'm going to apologize up front for being too lazy to search for answers to these questions:
- Break-in: what do you all recommend?
- Oil: seems like a lot of you have gone through a quart of oil before changes. I'd like to keep a few quarts, what brand & weight do you recommed?
- Any thing else you all think I should know about this beast would be appreciated
- April: anything specific I should know about the cab since you've had yours?

A few details on how I got the car. I've been thinking about trading in my A6 2.7T for either a S6 or S8. My 2.7T has been a fantastic car and at almost 100k miles has been trouble free. I went to my dealer to look at the S6 and S8 and there was this stunning RS4 cab parked next to them. I decided to keep my A6 as my daily driver and get the RS4 as my weekend toy. One word for me describes this car: WOW!!! I thought my 2.7T was fast but the RS4 is just in a different league.

I'll post a few more pics with her "topless" when the weather warms up a bit here in the Northeast. Looks like a good forum group here and I hope to contribute where I can.

Default Change your pic from p1270303.t.jpg to p1270303.jpg (remove the .t) and it will look better ;)

Nice ride too!

Looks great, I love Mugello blue, its nice and dark and understated but not boring like a black/grey

Break-in: what do you all recommend?

We followed the manual. Used about 1 qt of oil in the interim. Very very pronounced break-in/power. Shift got much smoother too.

- Oil: seems like a lot of you have gone through a quart of oil before changes. I'd like to keep a few quarts, what brand & weight do you recommed?

VW/Audi 502 spec 0W30, 5W30, or some folks suggest 5W40.

- April: anything specific I should know about the cab since you've had yours?

No issues that I'm aware of thus far. Hubby seems happy with it, and that is all that matters

Default Thanks....

Dealer also had a black/black one as well but the blue/silver had more of a Wow factor for me. Wife also like the color combo as well which made it all the more easier to convince her to let me get it :-)
