Default New stallion in the elevens stable

Quickest bike ever tested by CycleWorld in the 1/4-mile and lightest in class. Already modded the bageezis out of it. Seems like a good match for the RS4.

Default Beauty...

but be safe. Its not if you are going to fall, but when. Street bikes scare the poop out of me. Hopped on a GSXR 1000 once with 200hp to the wheels, I was literally shaking when I got off. Dangerous little toys.

Default Sweet!

Have Terry help you fine tune the oil for that puppy, depending on whether you want longest life or highest performance.

Default I've been riding ducks for 30 years and have always been partial to the L Twin engine layout for

a street bike. Somehow, the 16K RPM screamers never made sense to me. While the 1098 may have 160 HP and 90 ft/lb torque, it is way more tractable than the fours. I do like the looks of the 1098 series over the 999. The tri-colore is trick all right but red is classic. Interesting that the early Ducatis were any colour but red and didn't show up in red until the 1980s. I guess by then the Ferrari influence took over.

Nice call on the termis. There is nothing like the sound of a Ducati Superbike on overrun! Is that a 54mm full system?

Funny, I know a lot of Ducati riders who own VAG products. Somehow they go together. Enjoy!

Default So then you're assuming that I've actually grown up?

My buddy just bought a 4-wheel drive monster tractor. 13 feet wide, tandem wheels taller than me, etc. Had to take the duals off to fit in on a semi-trailer for delivery to his house, and the tires still hung mostly off the sides of the semi trailer. It's so big that there isn't a class for it at tractor pulls. Funny thing is he doesn't even own a farm, just drives it around his property for fun, climbs hills and wrecks stuff. Another fellow I know bought a bulldozer just for the fun of it. Mows down trees and pushes dirt and rocks around. Does it make any sense? Nope, that's all part of the fun.
