Default I can recommend...

BBS RS-GT
Finish: Diamond Black w/Mach Lip
Construction Type: Forged
Size: 19x8.5
Offset: +38mm
Bolt Pattern: 5-112
Rec. Tire Size:255/35-19
Weight: 21.4lbs

I ran a different size setup on my C4S w/out issue...although had to get a couple resprayed due to sloppy tire mounting. Relatively easy to clean, as well.

Default good for racing....meaning you're going to be participating in competitive driving events regularly?

if that's what you mean, you probably want to go down to 18" size, simply for the better selection of tires (and less expensive tires). and you probably want more than one set of wheels, if you're going to be serious about it. Kinesis and Fiske both make custom wheels (fitments to order) that are strong and lightweight. Kinesis are a bit heavier, but generally considered to be much stronger. Plan on spending about $4K per set. see wheelenhancement.com for other options.

I don't think you really meant 'racing', but that's what you posted.

Skip all the above except the last for track use.

Default Kinesis is now Lexani....No more decent Kinesis...

We will be building a wheel very similar to the discoutinued but very popular F110.

Default OZ Superleggera

Had these on my M3 way back when. Great light weight wheel. They were very light.

The IForged wheels are nice, but I have no info on their lightweight models. Call Vince over at IForged...he's a cool guy.

Last but not least, have you looked at DPE?

Default I was going to add SDS, but...

since they aren't a favorite on the RS4 I left them out.

By the way, my dad just picked up a S6 and if I can convince him to get wheels for it I was thinking of yours. I love how they look on that A6 at The Collection.

Default Not light on the RS4 sizes...

unless Tirerack weighed my wheels wrong.

They were originally listed as 22 lbs. each, but now are only a few lbs. lighter then stock after weighing mine.
