One of the worst feelings in the world...
the sound of a pristine wheel coming in contact with a curb...after a long hard stressful day of work...I want this week to be over already :-(

I know what you mean... It happens...
I'm sorry to hear and I hope your evening is better.
BTW, I too just noticed the first ding on my front bumber yesterday. I thought I would take it worse, but I actually just feel fortunate that I was able to avoid dings for 8 months (in and around SF) and when it inevitably happened, it was not serious.

I just had a second one messed up when they put the new tires on my rims. I didn't even......
tell the two guys who did it anything as they had to fight so hard with the 275/30 to get them on the rims. It's not bad at all but you know how it is, I know it's there so I have to look at it every time I clean the rims. Other cracked rim is now a spare kept in the stable. If that and running into the garage is the worst thing I do to this car I'm lucky.

I know the feeling.
As I was heading out of the bank's ATM lane on my trip to quattro de Mayo, I cut the corner a little too quickly (the RS 4 is a bit longer than the TT...) and tagged the rear passenger wheel on the pneumatic tube island. I was pissed until I got to the hotel.
