Default RS4 Euro interior...

I actually emailed the guy and he won't separate the front seats from the rest of the complete interior. I cannot blame him for that or else he would be holding on to them a lot longer than he alreay has. These have been available for a couple of months. I expect they will still be there this fall at that price.

The seats pictured are fully adjustable with OEM electronic controls. I cannot tell if these have the side air bags. I do not see the orange wire clip.

The Recaro Sportster CS is the tuning seat offered by Recaro with manual adjustments and no side air bags. Thes can found on the Recaro Europe site.

Default Re: RS4 Euro interior...

i think for the price of 5k USD its definitely a steal considering how new they are and how expensive they are straight from the dealership..

and im gunna have to say that they dont have airbags.. probably one of the reason the seats were not us-specced?

I think I am one of the few who actually prefers the US seats.

Default correct... no airbag and you'd be looking for a yellow connector...

Would lack of side airbags cause airbag light/failure?

Default would most definitively cause the airbag light warning to be on...

but could be taken off by using resistors to trick the ECU to think the airbags are there... JetJockey has done it on his B6.

i would suspect the rest of the airbag system would still be operational, but that's just a guess.

Proper coding via VAG-COM would likely eliminate the warning.

No Vag-Com won't help you. You need to fool the system in thinking the air bag is there.
