Yes it seems San Antonio did not get hit but I believe star607 was in Galveston and it got wacked.

Default not galveston, but Houston...

Galveston did get wacked, and Houston got about 4 million people without electricity and many without water. There is tons of debris and lots of power lines and trees down. During Ike, the winds were really crazy. Currently, I'm without power, but I can't complain. They are estimating at the very latest 4 weeks, but in the meantime I'm staying with my parents. What's really crazy is that I have a two week old baby, and for the 1st two days of the storm, my wife and I were changing diapers and feeding her by flashlight.

Default what do you know about League City? there's a guy over in AWP who was staying there....

...haven't heard anything from him. I tried to talk him into leaving, but apparently the local officials told them it was OK to stay.
