OT: Paging Scott (RI.RS4)....
I took an oil sample of the syntec 0w-30 at 3700 miles for today's oil change. I refilled with the last 7 qts of syntec 0w-30 I have and 2.5qts of Redline 5w-30. I'll do an analysis on the old, the new, and the next one which will be all redline.
I was just wondering...I specified that I would like the Dyson analysis and how long does it take to get the results? Do they email them or send them regular mail? Thanks.

It's done by email.
I usually go directly to Dyson, since the lab he uses has some additional tests that are nice to have. I'm not sure how long he takes to get back through Blackstone. Usually within 1 to 2 days after the initial Blackstone report, I believe

Let me know if there is another way I should be doing it...
I can send the next one's to his lab if it is really worth it. If it is better to send directly to him and his lab can you point me in the right direction. Thanks again Scott.

Dyson Analysis
And it's $10 less expensive to go directly to Dyson. He provides some advanced analysis of Oxidation, Nitration and Soot, which are in valuable for detecting problems, along with 40 and 100 degree cSt viscosity, TAN and TBN.

http://www.dysonanalysis.com/premiumkits.html</a
