Are our DRL bulbs the same as regular 2006 A4 DRL bulbs ? I assume so

Be careful replacing the DRL's with coated bulbs as the housing can melt. I had coated bulbs in mine for a while and you can see a very small area of the headlight housing that overheated. Had I left the bulbs in for an extended period of time, I believe that portion of the headlight housing may have melted. Someone actually had their bulb socket get so hot that it melted. I have some Hoen blue bulbs that I am going to try the next time I have the hood up.
