Default Problem solved: MMI Screen on RNS-E

I previously reported a problem on this forum, and I posted the solution below. Thought I would post it as a new thread as I'm sure most of you who were concerned did not see it.

The problem was: the coating on the screen was partially removed from using the wrong cleaning solution on it. The coating had to be removed, and the clear plastic beneath revealed. My dealer was useless...told me I had to replace the whole unit. Audi was even worse...they said "the coating could not be removed." WRONG. After I figured out the solution, I told them what it was but I know they are not going to put it in their tech database.

THE SOLUTION: Adam's Polishes made it look perfect. I used these products from Adam's Polishes:
-Adam's Polishes Detail Spray to clean the screen, with their super plush microfiber towel
-Adam's Polishes Swirl and Haze Remover to remove the damaged anti glare coating.
-Adam's Polishes Revive Polish to polish the screen

You must let the screen completely cool down from use or heat, then apply these products gently with the super plush microfiber towel.

Looks better than new, clearer than before, and I don't miss the anti glare coating. The scrach remover and polish are much less abrasive than anything I've ever used, including Zymol and Griot's Garage. I just switched brands for my detailing items, and I suggest you check them out...I am so impressed.

This is amazing stuff...I then used it on light scratches on the car and they disappeared!! I'm not kidding!! I'm a convert.

Default I would suggest using the Adam's Detailing Spray to clean it

With his super plush microfiber towel. Then you won't have to screw it up. I'm just amazed at the quality of his stuff...and I didn't get paid to say this! (But I did get my screen rescued by this products, which is probably worth about $2,000 between the cost of the system and the reinstallation.)
