Pulling the trigger on a Spint Blue
Any advise on my color choice....Any other points would be appretiated.
Finally - If I don't need a liscence plate holder in the front but comes from a state that does, what do I do, do I get a new plate or filler item that removes it.
Thanks

Cool color just make sure you see the car in person
Avus silver not cool in pictures, real cool in person. Phantom black still my favorite, I was at the factory in Neckarsulm last year and they had all the colors lined up. Sprint blue is very striking and stands out from the pack. I love black cars but sprint blue very sharp. Congrats and enjoy!

Re: Cool color just make sure you see the car in person
I am not able to see it before buying, but I hear great things about the color and the internet has a few pics. I will be happy with it.
The dealer has 70 miles on it and has been sitting for 2 mts. Is this odd? anything to worry about the 70 miles/
Thanks

It's a little more subtle in person
I swear...I bought mine, like you, sight unseen. After more than a few Avus Silver Audi's, I was ready for a change. To be honest, I was a little startled by its brightness initially, but it's grown on me to the point that I can't really imagine going back to a silver car. Except for all the attention it garners, wanted and unwanted -- I've had SOOOO many nice people in other Audis and BMW's and Porsches (and etc) stop and ask me about the car in a nice way...it's the boy-toy hot-rodders that want to run. I have to laugh under my breath when they gun their engines...sure, they might be able to beat me in a straight line, but I'm almost never tempted.
In other words, the color's worth the hassles (don't ask me after a few months of Boston winters, though).
