Default Put It Away In The Garage Overnight or Leave it Out

I just upgraded from a 2007 S4 which I had from new to a 2007 RS4 w/ 13k miles. My S4 had the same mileage, so it was a lateral move (as far as vehicle age goes). Both are Sprint Blue. I was leaving my S4 in the driveway overnight largely because the garage is full, it's detached and we have a single lane driveway which would entail moving my wife's super sized Suburban every night in order to garage the vehicle.

Anyway, what is the general opinion about leaving the car out? As long as it get's a regular car wash and a coat of wax on occasion, what concerns should I have? BTW, I'm in Bergen County, NJ.

P.S. The S4 came from Riverside. It's on my way to work. The RS4 came from North Bay Imports in East Windsor, CT.

I don't have a garage..... if I did I would make a nice home for it in one.

Mine is out. Three cars, two-car garage which also is used as the workshop. Two cars out of three sit outside.

Yeah, the paint is probably going to suffer a bit... so what. On the other hand will likely to have less rust.

Less rust, or more rust? I didn't think modern cars rust in the first 5 years unless they incur body damage.

Default Should be fine, my first two Audi's sat outside most their lives and look/looked great 5+ years

after new...and that's a red cabriolet and my old TT. Regular wash/wax and since more exposed a clay bar every once in a while to get the fallout off it should be fine. The leather needs to be protected so regularly treat that with good conditioner (UV protection). Same with rubber/plastics

it is all relatively speaking. An Audi should not rust that much. But the humidity in the garage tends to be higher during winter months, and the melting snow plus salt makes more damage to the car than it sitting outside. At least where I live.

garage it. Will stay cleaner, and out of the way if you don't drive it the next day..

Default If you have the option, I'd say def. garage it

one of the worst things to do in the morning is brushing the snow off your car
