Question about DRC Part information
I went to a dealership for leaking oil from both front suspensions on Nov.05. 2008. They told me they would call me when they get all parts, but they have never called me back until now. I am very disappointed about that. Anyway leaking oil from front suspensions becomes worse and worse. I can see a lot of oil on the floor now. Here is a part list that they ordered at that time.
8E0412019 : Shock Absorber : Qty 1
8E0412020 : Shock Absorber : Qty 1
4F0412137 : Boot : Qty 2
G 052731A2 : Hydr. Oil : Qty 3
I have searched about DRC. Still I am not sure what parts and tools they exactly need to repair the problem. Is any other part or tool needed to repair it besides the parts I mentioned above? I want to make sure that they have all parts and tools before I go to the dealership, which is 150 miles away. The dealership does not have any experience with fixing DRC although they sold three RS4s.
Thank you.

Well I'm no expert but from what I've gathered second hand...
The wait was good because you'll want the new and improved shocks with a "B" appended to the part number. Also, it's very possible that two valves will need to be replaced as well. Maybe somebody on here will correct/confirm this info.

Here is a link to the info I found when ordering my replacement parts:

Make sure you have revision B for your replacement, otherwise you may be just wasting your time. I don't think there is any information on the performance of the new system, but better safe than sorry, knowing replacing with the same parts is not a long term solution.
