Default Question: where to mount laser jammer pods?......

Trying to find a location for these without cutting the grill.

Are the three open slots below the grill too low of a location?

Will performance be badly hindered if they do in fact sit behind the grill mesh or are the openings large enough for signal to get through and out?

What have people done?

Thanks

i think it needs to be higher then that, otherwise the cop might not hit it with his gun.

Default Too low......cut the grill....loks slick..saw someone's here and looked damn good

you need to be with in 18" of the transponder with the big headlights to ward off hits at less than 500ft...go to radardetector.net and ask the pros there...couple of engineers that will respond to your post and guide you....

Default I had this discussion on the radardetector.net forum 2 year ago...

and I wanted to install at the location you described, but everyone pretty much advised me not to do it. I went with the laser pro park (which was arguably the best at the time), and went with two sensors (one in back and front).

It's really not that noticeable until you look for it.

Default just noticed from below that vmr has some pretty good knockoffs

$999 per set + shipping, but no idea about their manufacturing process (cast vs forged).

replica version

Fantastic! What's the correct offset to run on these? +22? or +33?

Default I have the m40's in 19 x 9.5 with et 29.

You probably could do the 33 with 4 mm custom spacer.

Default Re: just noticed from below that vmr has some pretty good knockoffs

Our wheels are cast, however, they are still very light for their sizes.

If you guys have any specific questions on fitment or weights, etc, you can feel free to e-mail me. My e-mail is don@velocitymotoring.com

You could also reply here, but due to the forum design, it might get lost in a couple of days.
