My local dealer has a blk/blk '07 RS4 that apparently another guy ordered but decided to change colors at the last minute. Dealer is charging MSRP but he said he'd give me $1020 off. He must be using a forumla to come off with such a number. I replied to him asking if he can do any better. What do you guys think my chances are of working a more attractive deal? Does Audi offer balloon financing? I've always been a BMW guy so this is a bit new to me.

Lastly, the dealer told me only 450 units are sent to the states. Is this true? I'd imagine this alone would keep the resale value fairly stable.

BTW, I'm in Chicago if that matters. TIA.

i'd print it out and bring it to the salesman. when he tells you $1020 off is the best he can do, ask him if his information about the number of cars sent to the states was the best he could do too.
