Went to start the car yesterday morning .....battery dead. Jump started it without any problems. When I got back home and I noticed that the radiator fan was blowing and did not stop for over 1 hour. Called the dealership.....tried the fuse box.....then finally disconnected the battery. Unfortunately, can't get it serviced until the holidays are over. Has anyone else heard anything about this? I also noticed that there has always been a quiet hissing sound out of the bose speakers even when the ignition is off. I have noticed the hiss ever since day 1. My car is was just delivered 2 weeks ago and I was hoping that these bugs would have benn worked out.

My fan did the same thing, ran until the battery died. Dealer had to replace that module.

With all the snow here in Denver I haven't driven my car for almost a week so now I'm wondering if it's going to start ok.

That's normal - the amplifier doesn't switch off until you lock the car.

So if I never lock my car (in the garage) does the amp always stay on ?

No - it times out after something like 30 minutes.

how long did it take for the dealer to replace that module?

They had to order the part. So if you went on a weekday they should have it the next day.

Never heard of this happening before...maybe just a relay.
